from the date of your arrival in the Colony. In the event of your appointment bein; cancelled, you will not be entitled to any leave of absence or pay after the date of the letter by which the cancellation is notified
to you, unless the Governor, subject to the approwl of the Secretary of State, shall grant it on special grounds.
